Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Kiki Makeup ("kiki", "we"). When you use the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use kiki.

What kiki is

kiki is a makeup coach. It turns a look into steps, and an AI buddy guides you with voice and your camera. The AI can make mistakes. Its advice is not professional, medical or skin-care advice. Test any product on a small area of skin first, and stop if it irritates you. Do not use products near your eyes in a way their label does not allow.

Your account

You sign in with your phone number. You must give true information and keep your phone safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use kiki.

Your content

You keep ownership of your photos, looks and other content. You give kiki permission to store and process them, and to send them to the AI companies named in our privacy policy, only to run the app for you. Only add photos you have the right to use. Do not add photos of other people without their permission.

Looks from links

When you share a video link, kiki reads the link to build the steps. The video and the look belong to their creators. kiki shows the creator and the link. Use these looks for your own practice.

Subscriptions and buddy time

Some features need buddy time. A paid plan gives you time and looks each month. Apple charges you and renews the plan until you cancel it. You manage and cancel it in your Apple account settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Prices show in the app before you buy. Refunds go through Apple. Buddy time that you do not use does not carry over unless the app says so.

Rules

You must not:

• break the law or the rights of others;
• try to break, copy or attack the app or its servers;
• use the app to make harmful or hateful content;
• use bots or abuse the AI, for example to run up its cost.

We can limit or close an account that breaks these rules.

Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings. We can stop or change the app. We will try to warn you first when we can.

No promise of results

We give kiki "as is". We do not promise that it will always work, that the AI will be right, or that you will get a certain makeup result. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Your rights under consumer law in your country stay the same.

Governing law

The laws of the United States govern these terms. If you have a problem, write to us first and we will try to fix it. Rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer stay the same.

Changes

We can change these terms. We will update the date above. If you keep using kiki after a change, you accept it.
